She started her international experience with Deloitte where she was exposed to a broad range of assignments. knowledge is proven by the Polish chartered accountant and ACCA certifications and recognized in professional publications. Her knowledge was enriched by experience gained in running complex and diversified consulting projects that contributed to a better understanding of internal control, corporate governance, and business processes.
As a CFO of PKP Energetyka SA (PKP`s portfolio company), she was responsible for the preparation and delivery of the privatization process followed by the change of the ownership into the private equity fund (CVC Capital Partners, the biggest private equity fund in Europe and Middle-East). Later she worked for CVC for 2 years experiencing execution, implementation, and monitoring of the transaction. She participated in a standard private equity fund value creation program including completion of the multilayer transformation process, including the improvement of process effectiveness, reflected by the increase of EBITDA and release of resources, including working capital. She participated in a comprehensive transformations of entire business structures, being the prerequisite for the achievement of the goals assumed by the private equity fund owner. Transformation process included split-off of selected operating processes to separate entities (including green-field Shared Service Centres); implementation of group cash pooling and working capital management; modification of processes based on the enterprise risk management; development of controlling structure, combined with the implementation of integrated IT systems.
Marta holds a master’s degree in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics.
